This office here in HSR Layout is where we spend our time talking to students who are thinking about going to Cardiff University in the UK. We are tucked away in House 52 on the 17th Main, right in the middle of the 6th Sector. It’s a nice enough building, though the traffic outside in Bangalore can get pretty loud during the day. We have lots of brochures and papers scattered around the desks. Most of the time, we are just sitting down with parents or kids, explaining how the application process works or what the weather is like over there in Wales. It’s funny because we are here in the heat of India talking about a place thousands of miles away. The office isn't huge, but it's where all the local coordination happens. We deal with a lot of emails and phone calls, trying to make sure everyone has their documents sorted. Sometimes the internet slows down or the power goes out for a minute, which is just part of working in this area. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the files. People find us easily because we’re near the main spots in HSR. We don't have a big corporate team here, just a few of us making sure the information gets to the right people. It's a steady routine of paperwork and conversations about the future, which is quite interesting when you think about it. We just try to keep things organized.
