We’re located at 52 Silver Jubilee Park Road, or S J P Road as most people call it. If you know Bangalore, you know this road is always crowded with people looking for hardware and industrial parts. Calcutta Industrial Products fits right in here. Our shop is packed with items from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit hard to find things sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting could be better, but it’s a real working shop. We spend our days helping people find exactly what they need for their own projects. It’s a lot of lifting, moving boxes, and writing out bills by hand. We don't have a fancy computer system that does everything for us. We prefer the old-fashioned way of doing business. You talk to the person across the counter and get what you need. The noise from S J P Road is constant—horns honking and people shouting—but we don't even notice it anymore. We’ve been here for years and have seen the neighborhood change, but our way of working has stayed pretty much the same. We just keep the shelves stocked and the doors open. It’s a simple life, and we like the people we meet every day. There's no pretense here, just a lot of industrial stuff and hard work. That's our daily routine in the market.
