Started at 107 Ragipet Adajan Road a long time ago. The office isn't much to look at, just a few desks and a lot of folders stacked up against the walls. We spend most of our mornings dealing with the same old paperwork. Adajan Road gets really crowded around noon, so if you're coming by, it’s better to walk. My father started this and now I’m here doing the same things he did, looking at numbers until my eyes hurt. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just some plastic chairs that have seen better days. Usually, there's a tea stall right outside that makes too much noise, but the tea is decent so we don't complain much. People come in asking about their taxes or some government form they don't understand. We just sit here and try to figure it out. It’s not exciting work, honestly. It gets hot in the afternoons and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that never goes away. Sometimes we lose track of time because there's so much to get through before the day ends. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just keeping the books straight for the folks who live around here. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but most people know where we are by now. We’ve been at this spot for years and don't plan on moving anywhere else soon.
