Brookefield Hospital

Brookefield Hospital sits right on ITPL Main Road at Vijayalakshmi Square. This part of Kundalahalli is always packed with people going to work in the tech parks. We are right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The hospital has several floors. We have a lot of different departments, but it doesn't feel like those giant cold hospitals. We try to keep it more down to earth. The lobby is busy and the elevators are always running. We have a lot of staff, from doctors to the cleaning crew. Everyone has their own routine. You can hear the traffic outside all day long. It never really stops on ITPL road. We have a pharmacy inside which helps people get what they need without going back out into the heat. The rooms are basic but they have what is needed. We see a lot of people who work nearby coming in for small things, and then more serious cases too. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The cafeteria is small but it’s where we all grab a quick tea when we can. It’s a big responsibility to be here in such a busy area. We just take it day by day, making sure we look after whoever walks through the front doors of the square. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic, but we just keep pushing through the day.
