The commute along Hosur Road is a nightmare most days with all the traffic. This is where the industry is located, though. Champion Packaging Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this exact spot for quite a while now. Our factory floor is a busy place. There is a constant sound of the machinery and the smell of cardboard and plastic. It’s an Anekal Taluk address. That basically means we are right on the edge of the city. We have a lot of workers who come in every day from the nearby villages. The work is physical and can be very tiring. We all get through the day together. We don't have a fancy canteen. We just sit together and eat our lunch boxes during the afternoon break. There are always trucks waiting out front to be loaded or unloaded. The yard can get quite chaotic when several arrive at once. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to for an order. Most of the real work happens on the floor with the machines. We make sure the packaging is strong enough for whatever it’s going to hold. It’s practical stuff. We don't have polished brochures. If people like what we do, they usually come back. That’s how we stay in business in this area. It is just part of the industrial life here.
