Black Lotus Peace Foundation

We've been over here at New 75 in CV Raman Nagar for a while now. It's a busy part of Bangalore, right by the BDA Ngef area in Byrasandra. People usually find us without too much trouble if they know the neighborhood. The office is basically just a place where we get things done. We started Black Lotus Peace Foundation because there was some work that needed doing around here. It isn't a fancy setup. We spend most of our days dealing with the paperwork and the actual tasks at hand. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on what's in front of us. Most of the folks helping out live nearby, so we walk or take a quick rickshaw to get to the ward 83 area. Sometimes the weather makes the commute a bit of a mess, especially when it rains hard in Bangalore. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the list for the day is finished. If you’re passing by Byrasandra, you might see us. It’s just a regular building, nothing special to look at from the street. We’ve been keeping at it, trying to stay organized in the middle of everything. We handle things as they come. It's a small team, really. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. Just a few people trying to keep the lights on and do what we set out to do originally.
