Our place is Bk Chemtech Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. on Jeremiah Road in Frazer Town. It’s an old part of town with a lot of character. The building is No. 1. We are an engineering firm, focusing mostly on chemical tech stuff. It’s technical work. We spend a lot of time looking at schematics and thinking about pipes and tanks. The office isn't very large. It’s tucked away in a corner of the neighborhood. We’ve been here for years. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We have some heavy books on the shelves and some old computers that still work fine. Frazer Town is nice because of the food nearby. We often go out for a quick bite and talk about projects. It’s not a loud place, just a few people working quietly. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. If someone needs engineering help, they usually find us through word of mouth. We deal with a lot of regulations and safety stuff. It’s important but it’s also just part of the daily grind. We like it here on Jeremiah Road. It feels like home to us after all this time. The neighbors know us and we know them. Sometimes we have to travel to sites, but we always come back here to do the actual reports and planning. It’s not a fast-paced environment, more slow and careful.
