B K Chemtech Engineering India Pvt Ltd is located right in Fraser Town at number 1. It is an old part of the city with a lot of character. Our office is in a building that has seen better days, but it works for us. We handle engineering stuff, mostly related to chemicals and technical systems. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so many files and old equipment lying around. We don't really bother with decorating the place. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us since we started. Fraser Town is a great place to be because of the food, but the narrow streets can make deliveries difficult. We often have to go out and meet the trucks on the main road. Inside the office, it is usually a bit chaotic. There is always someone talking on the phone or looking for a misplaced document. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine. We just use a kettle. It’s an honest place where we work hard. We don't pretend to be a giant corporation. We are just a local engineering firm trying to do a good job from our spot at number 1. The windows rattle when big buses go by, but we are used to it by now. We usually have a bit of a mess on the main table with all the blueprints and coffee mugs. That is just how we work. It gets the job done.
