Bhs First Grade College

Bhs First Grade College is situated right in the middle of Jayanagar 4th Block, which is one of the busiest spots in Bangalore. We are directly opposite Cool Point, so everyone uses that as a landmark when they are trying to find us. Being on 30th Cross and 11th Main means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside our gates. The college building has several floors, and the stairs are usually crowded between classes when students are rushing up and down. It is a typical local college where students from different parts of the city come for their degree courses. You can hear the city noise all day, from the honking of cars to the general chatter of the neighborhood. We have the usual setup with classrooms, a library that stays quite busy during exam time, and some office space on the ground floor. During the breaks, the students mostly hang out near the entrance or go across the street for a snack. The building shows its age in a few spots, but it is kept clean enough. We don't have a massive playground because of the central location, so the focus is really just on the lectures and the daily schedule. It gets quite bright in the afternoons with the sun hitting the front of the building. It is just a regular part of the Jayanagar landscape and has been for quite some years now.
