You can find Bharathi Institute Of Commerce over at Maruthi Plaza. We are on the first floor, right opposite the Vijayalakshmi Theatre in Chickpet. Chickpet is one of those places that is always packed with people and shops. It’s very noisy and there’s always something going on outside. Our office isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got desks and some chairs for the students. Most people come here to learn about accounting or how to handle business books. It’s a simple setup. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep. Being across from a theater means we always hear the crowds when a big movie is playing. It adds a bit of life to the day, I guess. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the usual fans. It’s a place where you come to work and learn, not to sit in luxury. The neighborhood is full of wholesale markets, so there’s a lot of commercial energy around. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the students to arrive. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. Nothing complicated about it at all.
