Our clinic, Bharat Piles Fistula Clinic, is tucked away at 484/2 on the 2nd Cross of Kumbar Street. It’s right off Old Madras Road in the Krishnarajapuram area. Finding it for the first time might take a minute because Kumbar Street is one of those narrower local lanes. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The building is older, fitting in with the rest of Krishnarajapuram. We specialize in some specific health issues that people often find hard to talk about. Because of that, we try to keep the clinic feeling private and low-key. It’s a small place with a waiting room and a couple of consultation areas. We don't have a big team, just enough people to manage the patients and keep the records straight. The day usually involves a lot of talking to patients and explaining how treatments work. It’s honest, direct work. The neighborhood is quite lively with the 2nd Cross always having people moving about. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze for parking, but folks manage. We just keep things running as best as we can. It’s not a fancy medical center with glass walls; it’s just a regular clinic on a regular street. We’ve become a part of the local scenery here over the years. We open the doors, see who needs help, and go through the day until it’s time to lock up and head home. It is quiet work but we stay very busy most of the week.
