Bgs International Residential School

We’ve been here at Nityananda Nagar for a while now, tucked away in Gollahalli Post. Being a residential school means things are always busy around the clock, even when the sun goes down. In Kengeri Hobli, we have a decent amount of space for the kids to move around, which is helpful. It’s definitely not like those schools right in the middle of the city noise where everything is cramped. We mostly deal with the day-to-day stuff, like making sure the dorms are in good shape and the classrooms are unlocked before the first bell rings. Most of our staff lives nearby or right here on the grounds, so we’re always around if something breaks or needs fixing. It gets quiet at night, which is nice for the students to get some rest or do their reading. We don't really go for the flashy stuff you see in fancy school brochures. It’s mostly just about making sure the kids have what they need for their lessons and a place to sleep that feels okay to them. The weather out here is usually okay, so they spend a lot of time outside when they aren't stuck at their desks. We have some trees and open spots that stay green even when it's dry. Managing a place this size takes a lot of talk with the kitchen folks and the cleaners. It is a lot of work, but we are used to the rhythm of it now.
