Best Roadways Ltd

Best Roadways Ltd is tucked away at No.12 on the 3rd Cross of Lalbagh Road. We are pretty close to the Garuda Maruti showroom, so that’s usually how people find us when they get lost. The road out front is always busy with people going to the gardens or heading toward the city center. Our office is a simple one, with a few wooden chairs and a big table where we spread out the logbooks. There is a lot of dust from the road that comes in through the door, so we are always wiping down the desks. Most of the drivers come in here to get their papers signed before they head out on long trips. You can usually hear the engines of the big trucks idling nearby. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the busy shifts. It gets quite hot in the middle of the day, so we keep the windows open, even if it means more noise from the street. We’ve been at this location for a while and the building is showing its age, but it’s sturdy. The walls have some marks on them from moving furniture around over the years. We just focus on keeping the records straight and making sure everyone knows where they are supposed to go next. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We don't have much time for anything other than the trucks and the schedules.
