We’ve been here at the Bangalore Complex on BEML Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the heavy stuff moving in and out of the gates. If you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic gets around shift changes. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the work done. There are a lot of us working in the different sheds and offices. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more about the metal and the machines. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much when the wind picks up across the yard. We have been part of the landscape here for years, so everyone in the neighborhood knows the name. It’s a large site, and walking from one end to the other takes longer than you’d think. Coffee breaks are the best time to catch up with the guys from the other sections. We don’t really do much talking about big goals or anything. We just focus on the schedule and making sure the parts are where they need to be. The buildings show their age a bit, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. It feels like a real workplace, not some polished showroom. Most days are just about hitting the numbers and heading home after the whistle blows. It’s loud, it’s busy, and it’s home for most of us during the day.
