Belaku Foundation

Belaku Foundation is tucked away in AECS Layout, right there in Singasandra Village. We are on the 4th floor of the B-Block building, which means a lot of climbing if the power goes out, but you get a decent view of the area from up here. It is mostly just a group of us sitting around desks, handling the paperwork and talking to people who drop by. The neighborhood is usually quite busy with traffic coming off the main road, but once you get up to our floor, it gets a bit quieter. We started here because the space worked for us and it was easy for the local folks to find. Most days, we just deal with the usual office stuff, answering phones and trying to keep everything organized. It’s not a fancy setup, just some chairs, a few old computers, and plenty of files. Sometimes the tea lady comes by, and that’s when we take a break and talk about things other than work. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors in the other blocks know us by name. It feels right being part of the local scene here in this part of Bangalore. We don’t have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. It’s a practical place for doing what we do every day without too much fuss. We usually head home when the sun starts going down, leaving the files for the next morning. It’s a steady routine that keeps us going through the week.
