Battery Kendra

We've been at 10 Kathriguppa Main Road for a while now. Most people know us because they’re stuck with a dead car or a bike that won’t start in the morning. It’s a busy spot here in Banashankari 3rd Stage, especially when the traffic picks up on the main road. My brother and I usually handle the shop. We keep different kinds of batteries on the shelves for all sorts of vehicles and some home UPS systems too. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with the old casings piled up in the corner, but that’s just how a battery shop looks. People stop by, ask a few questions about why their battery isn't holding a charge, and we try to give them a straight answer. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have our tools, the testing meter, and plenty of stock. If you’re coming from the Kattreguppa side, you’ll see us right there. We spend most of our day dealing with heavy lead blocks and checking acid levels. It is hard work on the hands, but it’s what we do. Usually, someone is always here from morning till late evening. We don’t really do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from neighbors or folks passing through who need a quick jumpstart or a replacement. We just try to keep things moving day by day.
