Maatru Agro Traders

You can find Maatru Agro Traders over in Kaveripura, specifically at 912 Shanthinivas. We’re right near Ravinandana School, so you can usually hear the kids playing during the day. It’s in the Kamakshipalya part of Bangalore North, near Basaveshwara Nagar. We deal with agro trading, which basically means we spend our time talking to farmers and then finding buyers for what they grow. The office at Shanthinivas is usually filled with sacks of samples and the smell of grain. It’s a busy neighborhood. We’ve got a lot of traffic passing by, but we like being in the middle of it. Trading isn't always easy because prices go up and down, but we try to keep a level head. We aren't big shots. We’re just a small group of people working out of a residential building that we turned into a workspace. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the trucks, but we try to keep things moving quickly. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for several years. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of the goods coming in. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If you want to know what we have, you just come by the school and find our door. We're usually there from morning until late evening.
