Basava Motor Driving School

Basava Motor Driving School is situated on the first floor at 166/2, Basava Nagar Main Road. We are right opposite the Basava Nagar Bus Stop, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us when they get off the bus. Bangalore traffic is something else, and we spend most of our daylight hours right in the middle of it. Our office is a modest room upstairs where we keep the records and talk to new students. It’s not polished or fancy. We don't have a reception desk with a phone that never stops ringing. It’s just a local place for local people. We teach people of all ages. Some are kids just turning eighteen, and others are older folks who finally decided they needed to drive themselves around. We sit in the passenger seat for hours, watching the road and making sure the students stay calm. It gets quite noisy with the buses and horns outside, but that’s just the environment we work in every day. We don't use any of that corporate language or have a big mission statement. We just show people how to handle a car safely. Sometimes the paperwork for the RTO takes longer than we’d like, but we just help people get through it. It’s an honest, everyday business. You can see our sign from the road if you’re walking by the bus stop. We’re just here doing our thing and helping neighbors learn to drive.
