Barkath Interior Decorators

Our workshop is at 239 B T M 1st Stage, right on Solapur Road inside Amarjit Society. It’s a bit tucked away but if you look for the Amarjit Society gate you will find us. Barkath Interior Decorators is basically a small team of us who like working with our hands. We spend a lot of time with wood, fabric, and paint. It gets a bit messy with all the sawdust and scraps lying around but that is how you know work is getting done. B T M is a crowded area so we are used to the noise from the street. We started this because we liked making things look a bit better than they did before. It is not like the big design firms you see in magazines. We are just regular people who know how to fix up a room. We use simple tools and take our time with things. Sometimes we are out at a site all day and the shop stays locked for a bit. People in the society know us well by now. We don't have a big showroom. Most of our work is shown through what we have already finished for neighbors. It is a lot of hard work and sometimes our backs ache at the end of the day. But it is good to see something finished and ready to use.
