Guru Exports

You can find Guru Exports right across from the Beereshwara Temple in Bapujinagar. Being on Mysore Road means it’s always busy outside our door at No. 59. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s a functional space where we pack things and talk to suppliers. We do exports, mostly focusing on getting local goods out to other places. It’s a lot of manual work and checking labels. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. Sometimes the temple bells ring while we are on the phone, which is just part of being here. We don’t put on airs or try to look bigger than we are. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea or arguing over a shipping manifest. It’s a messy process sometimes. Goods come in, we check them, and then they go out. There is always a lot of dust because of the road construction, but we keep the inside as clean as we can. We aren't trying to change the industry or anything. We just want to make sure the boxes get where they need to go without any drama. It’s a straightforward life and we’ve gotten used to the daily grind on Mysore Road, even when the monsoon rain makes the temple steps slippery and the traffic stops completely.
