About Bangalore Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Bengaluru
Working at South End Circle means there is always something going on outside our doors. This part of R V Road is usually packed with buses and cars, so the hum of engines is just part of the background here at No 202. The hospital itself has been standing here for quite some time. It’s a big building with lots of corridors that all look the same if you aren't used to them. We spend a lot of time walking back and forth between the wards. The lobby has those heavy glass doors that never seem to stay clean for long because of all the handprints. People come in looking worried, and we just try to get them where they need to go. The cafeteria food isn't half bad, though the tea is always too sweet. In the evenings, the light hits the front of the building in a certain way that makes the dust in the air look like gold. We have nurses who have been here since they were young. It’s a place of routine. Checking charts, moving trolleys, and the constant beep of some machine or another. It’s busy, and sometimes it’s loud, but that is just how a hospital in this part of Bangalore works. We don't have many fancy decorations on the walls, just the necessary signs and maybe a calendar. The shift changes are always a bit chaotic with everyone talking at once. We usually have a lot of families waiting in the lobby during visiting hours.
