Azmeera & Sons

Azmeera & Sons is located at number 16 in the Azmeera Building. We are right by the Jumma Masjid on S P Road. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with people looking for electronics and hardware. The street is always full of movement and the sound of bells and horns. Our building has been here for a long time, and it has that old-fashioned feel to it. Inside, it is a bit cramped because we have a lot of stock piled up high. We are a family-run place, so there is usually more than one of us behind the counter arguing about where we put a specific box or who talked to which customer last. It is a very local way of doing things. We do not use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen are just faster when the shop is full of people. The proximity to the Masjid means we hear the prayers every day, which gives a nice rhythm to our working hours. We are just one of many shops on S P Road, but we have got our own little corner and we like it that way. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that do their best during the summer months. It is simple, a bit dusty, and very busy. We just keep things moving and try to help everyone who walks through the door.
