Our place is tucked away in Ganganagar. Specifically, Unit-11 on the 15th floor, though getting up there sometimes takes a minute if the elevator is acting up. It's a tight squeeze with all the components we have lying around. 5th Main and 7th Cross is a familiar spot for anyone around here. We deal with electronic boards and small parts. It’s a lot of soldering and looking through magnifying glasses. The lighting is bright because you can’t see the small stuff otherwise. There’s usually a radio playing in the corner, though nobody can ever agree on the station. We’ve got a small crew. We mostly focus on getting the circuits right. It’s quiet work, mostly. Sometimes a batch comes in and we’re all hands on deck for a few days. We don't have a big reception area or anything. Just a couple of desks and a lot of workbenches. The coffee machine is the most important piece of equipment after the soldering irons. We started out small and stayed that way, which works for us. It’s easier to keep track of quality when you’re right there on the floor. People know where to find us if they need a repair or a custom build. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud when we’re moving crates around early in the morning. It’s a good spot because there are a few shops nearby where we can grab a quick bite. Our desks are old wood and the chairs squeak a bit, but they do the job just fine.
