Avanti Components

Working out of Peenya 2nd Stage can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic, but we’ve been at this spot for a while. Our place is at 2438-B over on the 11th Cross in the Doddanna area. It’s an industrial part of town, so things stay pretty loud with the machines and trucks coming in and out all day. Avanti Components is just a small outfit really. We spend most of our time on the floor, making sure the parts are right. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a lot of metal, some tools, and us doing our jobs. We get a lot of dust from the road, especially in the dry months when the wind picks up. The guys usually start early before the sun gets too hot. It’s tight in here sometimes with all the inventory, but we manage to find what we need. We don’t really bother with big meetings or corporate talk. We just look at what needs to be made and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, which slows things down, but that’s just life in Peenya. We’ve known the guys in the shop next door for years. We help each other out if someone’s short on a tool or needs a hand with a heavy load. It’s a busy environment, but it works for us. We stay focused on the work right in front of us, making sure the day is productive without too much fuss.
