Avant Tools

Peenya Industrial Estate is a massive place, and we are right in the middle of it at B-296 on 7th Main. Avant Tools has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s dusty and loud most days, which is pretty standard for this area. We’ve got a lot of metal and parts stacked up in the corners. The 2nd Stage section gets a lot of traffic, especially with the big lorries coming through. We mostly just focus on getting the orders out on time. There’s no fancy reception area or anything. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes, probably covered in a bit of grease. That’s just the nature of working with tools and machinery. The heat can get pretty intense under the metal roof in the afternoons, but we have some fans going. We know the neighbors pretty well since we've all been here for years. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. We just answer the phone, write down what’s needed, and get to it. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how life is here at Avant Tools. We keep things straightforward. If someone needs a part, we find it. If a machine needs fixing, we handle it. It's just a regular workday for us.
