We are located at 16/1 in the Visweswariah Industrial Estate over in Mahadevapuram. It’s a fairly busy area of Bangalore, surrounded by other plants and warehouses. Autoliv Ifb India Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this site for a good while now. The building is a bit older, showing its age in the corners, but it serves its purpose well enough for what we do every day. The morning shift starts with everyone rolling in on their scooters, and there’s usually a bit of a line at the gate. It’s an industrial setting, so you shouldn't expect anything too polished or sleek inside. We spend our hours focused on the production lines and making sure the equipment is behaving itself. The weather in Mahadevapuram can be a bit unpredictable, so we’re always keeping an eye on the roof leaks during the heavy monsoon season. We have a small canteen area where most of us sit and eat lunch together, mostly just talking about the weekend or the local news. It’s a very grounded atmosphere here. There isn't any fancy corporate jargon used in the hallways. We are just a group of people working together to keep the schedules on track. The walls are lined with old parts and tools that have been there since we started. It’s a place where work actually gets done without much fuss or bother from the outside world.
