Athira Industries

Athira Industries is based out in Peenya, which is where most of the making happens in this city. We are at SB-117 in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically on the 3rd Cross in the 1st Stage. If you’ve ever been to Peenya, you know it’s all about the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of oil. Our factory isn't huge, but we have our machines set up to handle the daily work. It gets pretty hot inside during the afternoon, even with the big fans running. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. We aren't some big multinational corporation; we’re just a local industry trying to make good parts. The roads around the 1st Stage are often blocked by big lorries loading and unloading, so getting in and out can be a bit of a chore. We usually start the machines early in the morning before the heat gets too bad. Most of our time is spent on the floor, making sure everything is running right and the quality is okay. We have a tiny office in the corner for the billing and the phone calls. It’s dusty and loud, but that’s just the nature of Peenya. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy sales pitches. People come to us because they know we’re here and we do the work they need. It’s just a plain, hardworking industrial life every day of the week.
