We are located down at 1/1 C Sadar Patrappa Road, which most people just call S P Road. Our shop is inside the SKS Complex on Benki Nawab Street. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how packed it gets with shops and people moving goods. Associated Bearing Corporation is basically a place filled with boxes of bearings and mechanical parts. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have to store so many different sizes and types of bearings for various machines. The air usually smells a bit like industrial grease and metal. We spend a lot of time looking up part numbers and climbing ladders to get stuff off the high shelves. It is not a place for window shopping; people usually come here with a specific part they need to replace. We deal with a lot of small workshop owners and mechanics who need something fixed quickly. The SKS Complex is always buzzing with activity, and we are just one of the many businesses tucked away in there. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and keep working through the orders. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. We just have the stock and the knowledge of where everything is kept in the stacks. It’s straightforward work for people who need hardware parts and don't mind the noise of the busy street.
