Associated Automats

Our workshop is at number 7 in the Industrial Town area of Rajajinagar. We are on the 14th E Cross, right off 4th Main Road. It’s an area where people are always making something. The noise of machines is just part of the background here. At Associated Automats, we spend most of our time around lathes and drills. The air always has that heavy smell of cutting oil. It’s a smell that sticks to your skin even after you go home. We don't have a proper office with a carpet. It’s just concrete floors and heavy workbenches. We do a lot of small parts that have to be exactly the right size. If we mess up even a little bit, the whole thing is junk. So we have to be careful. Some days we are so busy we barely have time to look up from the machines. Other days are a bit slower, and we spend that time cleaning up or fixing our own equipment. We’ve been in Rajajinagar for a long time. We know the other shop owners around here. We help each other out when someone is short on a specific tool or material. It’s a tough environment, but it’s where we belong. We don't have a website or do any fancy advertising. People just know we are here at number 7. We just keep working and trying to get the orders out on time. It is plain work but we like the routine.
