I’m Ashoka K and I run my business out of the S S B Mutt Building. It’s located at 9 Kempa Gowda Road, right on the 2nd Floor. Being on Kempa Gowda Road means there is always something going on outside, plenty of noise and people moving about. The building is an old one, but it’s sturdy and serves its purpose well. I’ve been here for a good stretch of time. I don't have a lot of help, so I usually handle the daily chores myself. It’s a 2nd-floor walk-up, which keeps me moving. My space is filled with the things I’ve gathered over the years for my work. It isn't organized like a showroom, but I know where everything is. People come by because they know the S S B Mutt Building is a landmark in this part of town. I don't spend money on marketing or anything like that. If you need me, you just come to number 9 and head upstairs. I like the independence of working this way. There isn't any corporate pressure or someone looking over my shoulder. I just do the work as it comes in and try to be fair with everyone. The location is great because everything is close by. It’s a practical setup for someone who just wants to get things done without any unnecessary drama or fancy talk. It works for me and that is what matters most.
