Arun Battery Dealers

Being located at 111/1 on the Bommanahalli stretch of Hosur Road means we deal with a lot of noise and dust every single day. If you know this part of Bangalore, you know how the traffic just crawls past our front door. Arun Battery Dealers has been sitting here in this spot for years, and we have seen the road widen and the big buildings go up all around us. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of dust from the road, and there is always a stack of heavy batteries near the entrance. It is hard work lifting those things all day, and my back definitely feels it by the evening. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we keep the stock and talk to customers who are usually in a hurry because their car or bike won't start. Sometimes we just sit on the plastic chairs out front when it’s quiet, watching the trucks and buses go by towards Electronic City. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets a bit warm inside. We keep a small fan running, but it doesn't do much against the Bangalore heat sometimes. It’s a straightforward business, really. We just show up, handle the batteries, and talk to whoever pulls over. There are no big corporate meetings here, just honest work on a very busy road.
