Bannerghatta Road is always moving. It’s one of those parts of town where there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been set up here for a long time, watching the traffic go by from the windows. The hospital itself is a large place, but we try to keep it feeling grounded. It can be a bit overwhelming for some people when they first walk in because of the size, but the staff knows the layout well. We spend our days walking the corridors and making sure things are where they should be. It’s a lot of walking. There isn't any fancy decor or anything like that. We use simple furniture and the lighting is just what you'd expect. The noise from the road outside stays out there, which is good. Inside, it’s just the hum of machines and people talking in low voices. We get people from all over the city because of the location. Most of us have worked here for years and know the shortcuts through the building. Lunch breaks are usually quick. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the people coming in. It’s a busy life on Bannerghatta Road. We try to keep the floors swept and the reception desk manned at all hours. It's just a steady stream of work that never really stops, and we are used to that rhythm now. It's just a part of the road that we know best.
