Apollo Hospitals

Our place is located on Bannerghatta Road, right across from the IIM campus. If you know that area, you know how busy it gets with all the students and the traffic. It’s a massive road with something always going on. The hospital is a big landmark there. We have people coming in at all hours of the night and day. It never really goes quiet here. The security guards at the gate are always busy directing cars. Inside, it’s a lot of white walls and the smell of cleaning supplies. We have different floors for different things. The elevators are always full of people. We try to keep things moving along, but with so many patients, there’s usually a bit of a wait. The staff is used to the fast pace. We grab coffee when we can. The canteen gets pretty packed during the afternoon. You’ll see doctors in their scrubs rushing around and families waiting for news. It’s a high-energy environment. We don’t have much time for small talk. The focus is just on the charts and the beds. It’s a major spot for this side of the city. Even though it’s big, we try to remember the regulars who come in for their monthly visits. It’s just a big, busy hospital on a big, busy road.
