Antharbhaava Foundation

Antharbhaava Foundation is out at Kamakshi Farms in Nettigere Village. It’s quite a way out in Bangalore South Taluk, away from all the traffic and noise of the city center. Being in Uttarahalli Hobli means we have a lot more space than most offices. The farm setting is very different from a typical building. You can hear the birds and see a lot of greenery every day. We spend a lot of time walking around the site and checking on things. It’s a bit of a trek to get here, especially if the roads are dusty or it’s been raining. We don't have many neighbors, so it stays very peaceful. The daily routine involves a lot of outdoor work and keeping the place in order. We have some basic structures for meetings and storage. People who come out to see us usually enjoy the change of pace from the city. It’s hard work keeping a place like this running, but it’s what we do. We deal with the local weather and the challenges of being in a village area. There’s always something that needs fixing or a patch of ground that needs attention. We don't have the fancy amenities of a downtown office, but we have plenty of fresh air and quiet. It is just a regular group of us working out here at the farm every day.
