This wholesale spot, Anil Satish Whls Dealer, is located right at Electronic City D/1. It’s a big area but we have our little corner here. We mostly deal with moving stock in and out all day long. It gets pretty dusty with all the trucks coming by, so we are always cleaning off the desks. Satish is usually the one handling the inventory while Anil talks to the guys making the deliveries. We aren't a corporate office with fancy chairs; it’s mostly just stools and some old wooden tables. The fans make a bit of noise in the summer, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the guys working here live just a few minutes away, so we usually share lunch in the back room. We have piles of boxes everywhere, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. It’s a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We open up the shutters early in the morning and keep going until the last delivery is sorted. There isn't much to say about it other than we work hard and keep things moving. We’ve seen the area change a lot since we first set up shop here. New buildings are going up all the time, but we’re still here at D/1 doing the same thing we’ve always done. If the power goes out, we just sit on the steps and wait for it to come back.
