Andlay Udyog

If you look for us at 2009, Old Lai Bagh, you’ll find Andlay Udyog right in the middle of a very old part of the neighborhood. The lanes are a bit narrow, and it’s nothing like those new industrial parks they build on the outskirts of the city. This place has a lot of character, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls seem to have absorbed the history of the work we do. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. Every morning we roll up the shutters and the smell of the old building hits you. It’s a mix of iron and old dust. We don’t have any shiny signs or big glass windows. It’s just a solid place where we put in our hours. The people working here are mostly locals who have been with us for years. We talk about the local news over lunch and then get back to the machines. Old Lai Bagh is a busy place, and there’s always someone passing by or a delivery scooter trying to squeeze through. It can be a bit chaotic outside, but inside we have our own rhythm. We don't bother with fancy talk or long meetings. If something needs fixing, we fix it. If a job needs doing, we do it. It’s just a regular small business trying to do things right in a spot that’s been home for a long time.
