Sri Hanuman Batteries

Sri Hanuman Batteries is located in Peenya, which is a pretty industrial part of town. Our shop is surrounded by factories and other small workshops, so it gets very noisy during the day. We deal with all kinds of batteries, from the small ones to the big ones for trucks and backup power. It’s a dirty job sometimes, handling the old casings and checking the acid levels, but someone has to do it. The floors are usually a bit stained, and the shelves are packed with heavy boxes. I spend most of my time behind the counter or out back checking the stock. People come in when their cars won't start or when their home power goes out, and they’re usually in a hurry. We try to help them quickly, but sometimes there’s a wait if we’re testing a unit. Peenya is a tough place to work because of all the trucks and the heat, but we’ve been here for a while. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a working battery shop. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some calendars on the wall and a few chairs for customers to sit while they wait. My hands are usually a bit grubby by lunchtime. We just keep it simple. If a battery is dead, we tell you. If it can be saved, we try to charge it up for you. That’s just the way we do things here every day.
