Amararaja Batteries Ltd

Our location is over at Vijaya Nagar 992/26. We deal with batteries here, and it is pretty heavy work. These units aren't light, so we spend a lot of our time moving them around the warehouse floor. The air inside has that specific smell of metal and chemicals, but after working here for a week, you don't even notice it anymore. We are mostly focused on loading and unloading the trucks that come by. The drivers all know us because we are always out in the back bay. The building itself is just a plain structure, nothing really special to look at. We had a small leak in the roof last monsoon near the front door, but we patched it up with some sealant. We don't really do any marketing or fancy promotions. Most people in the area know where we are if they need power for a car or a backup system. The guys working the floor are usually covered in some kind of grease or dust by the time lunch rolls around. We sit together in the small break area to eat our tiffins and talk about the day. It’s straightforward work but it's what keeps the lights on for a lot of people. Vijaya Nagar is a busy place, so navigating the big delivery trucks through the traffic is always a challenge. We just make it work one day at a time. No slogans, just heavy lifting and keeping the stock organized.
