Amar Hospital

People usually find us by looking for the Rangaswamy Temple first. Being on 7th Cross means it gets a bit tight with the traffic sometimes. We’ve been at 226/4 for a good number of years now. It’s a busy street, lots of people walking by all day. Inside, it's pretty much what you'd expect. There are benches for waiting and the sound of the city coming through the windows. We start the day by cleaning the floors and checking the supplies. It’s a routine that hasn't changed much. The staff knows the regulars by name. Sometimes we have to tell people to move their scooters so the entrance stays clear. It’s not a quiet place, but it's our place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. We deal with the usual stuff like fevers, injuries, and checkups. No one here wears those perfectly pressed suits you see on TV. We just wear our scrubs and get to work. The temple nearby brings a lot of life to the street, and we feel like a part of that community. It’s simple, really. We open the doors, people come in with their problems, and we do what we can to help them out. It’s just a local hospital in a very busy part of the city. We have seen many families through difficult times right here on this street.
