Alumnus

Alumnus is based in Malleshwaram, specifically in the Barve Nagar area. It is a quiet part of town and we like it that way. Our building is a simple one, nothing too modern or flashy. We have been here for a good amount of time, just doing our daily tasks and keeping things running. Most people who work here live nearby, so we all walk or take the bus to get in. There is no big corporate culture here. We just sit at our desks and handle whatever comes our way. The office has some old furniture and a lot of paper files that we still keep. In Barve Nagar, everyone kind of knows everyone else. We see the same people at the tea shop every morning. Malleshwaram is full of history and we feel like a small part of that. We don't have any mission statements or big goals posted on the walls. We just try to finish our work by the end of the day. Sometimes it gets a bit busy and we have to stay late, but mostly it is a steady routine. We don't use much technology beyond what is necessary. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. If you walk through the streets of Barve Nagar, you might pass right by us without noticing, and we are perfectly fine with that. It’s just how we operate.
