Aluminium Designs

We’ve been over here at Tilak Nagar at the S R K Godown 10 for quite a while now. Aluminium Designs is just us working on various projects that come our way. Most days it is just a lot of cutting, measuring, and making sure things fit right. It gets a bit noisy in the godown, but that is just how the work is. We started out small and mostly stayed that way because it is easier to keep track of what is going on. When you walk in, you’ll see heaps of scrap and tools lying around. It isn't the fanciest office, but we get the job done. Sometimes the traffic outside is a nightmare, especially when deliveries are trying to get in or out. People around here know where we are. We handle whatever comes through the door, whether it is a small fix or a bigger setup. My hands are usually covered in dust by noon. It's not a glamorous life, just steady work. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. Most of our day is spent actually building things. If the weather is hot, the godown gets stuffy, so we keep the doors open. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some businesses leave, others come in, but we are still right here at number 10. It’s a decent spot for us and we know the shortcuts to avoid the main road rush.
