Our office is up the stairs, and it is a simple place where we manage the logistics of moving goods. Wilson Garden is a well-known area for businesses like ours because it is central. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking manifests to make sure everything is where it should be. It is not the most glamorous job, but it is what we do. The office is a bit old-fashioned with stacks of files and a few computers that have seen better days. We do not have any shiny lobbies or receptionists. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting at the nearest desk. Moving cargo involves a lot of coordination and sometimes things get a bit stressful when there are delays on the road. We just try to handle it as best as we can. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is nice when things get slow. We have been at this location for years and it feels like home to us now. Sometimes the delivery drivers get lost trying to find the 2nd floor entrance on B B Road, so we have to go down and wave them in from the street.
