We are situated on Hosur Road, which as anyone in Bangalore knows, is a very busy and crowded stretch. Being right near the Lal Bagh Main Gate means there’s always something going on outside our doors, from tourists to heavy traffic. The college is a place where people are usually busy with their lab coats and thick textbooks. It’s not a quiet, sleepy campus; it’s more about the constant hustle of city life. We have students coming from all over the state to study pharmacy here. The labs have that specific smell of chemicals and cleaning supplies that stays with you all day. We’ve got a lot of shelves filled with glass jars, scales, and scientific equipment. The building itself has been here for a long time and it feels lived-in, with scuffed floors and heavy wooden doors that creak. Sometimes the traffic on Hosur Road makes it hard to hear the lectures, but we’ve all gotten used to the noise. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and stacks of papers that need grading. We don’t have fancy lounges or anything like that for show. It’s just a practical place for students to learn their trade. During the lunch hour, people head out towards the gate or sit in the small courtyard to get some air. We don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s just a college where the focus is on the work.
