Akamai Technologies India Pvt Ltd is located over at Salarpuria Softzone in the Marathahalli area. We occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors here. It's right near Bellandur Village, so the traffic can be a bit of a headache if you’re coming in during the morning rush. Most of us are used to it by now though. The office itself is pretty standard for this part of Bangalore. We have a lot of desks and some meeting rooms that get used quite a bit. It’s a fast-paced environment where everyone is mostly looking at their monitors. We don't have a lot of frills, just the essentials to get the job done. Working in a tech hub like this means we're surrounded by other companies, which makes the whole area feel very active. Lunchtime usually involves walking out to find something to eat or just hanging out in the break room. It's not a quiet place, there's always the sound of keyboards or people talking about some technical problem. We’ve been here for a bit and the 2nd and 3rd floors feel like a second home to many of the staff. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks that come our way. The Softzone is a big complex, so sometimes people get lost finding the right entrance, but once you're inside, it’s just business as usual.
