Ajwa Traders

We started Ajwa Traders here at 219A Kalipalayam 1st Cross quite a while back now. It’s just a small spot, nothing too fancy, but we manage to get things done. Mostly we handle local orders and keep the inventory moving as best as we can. Dealing with suppliers and customers all day takes up most of our time. Sometimes the traffic on the cross road gets a bit much, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their deliveries in, but that’s just how it is around here. We don’t really have a big office or anything, just the workspace and a place to keep the stock. My nephew helps me out with the paperwork and the lifting when things get heavy. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they happen to be driving through Kalipalayam. We try to be fair and just do the work that needs doing without making a big fuss about it. It’s a lot of manual tracking and phone calls. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slow, but we keep the doors open. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just trying to keep the business steady. Every day is different, some days are quiet and other days we are running around trying to find where we put a specific order. That’s just the way things go when you’ve been in the same spot for years. If you’re ever near the 1st Cross, you’ll probably see us unloading something.
