We are over at number 406 in the Vidyapeeta area of Thyagarajanagar, specifically on 2nd B Main. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, except for the local traffic. Our agency has been operating here for quite some time now. We deal with various automotive parts and supplies. The front of the shop is mostly glass windows that we try to keep clean, though the dust from the road makes it hard. Inside, there are rows of metal shelving filled with boxes of all sizes. We have everything from oil filters to headlamp bulbs. It’s just a couple of us working here most days. We keep a pot of tea going in the back. Customers usually know what they want when they walk in, but sometimes we have to look through the manuals to find the right part number. It’s a lot of looking at old catalogs and checking stock levels. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the name on the door. It’s a local business and we like the pace of things in this part of town. Sometimes we stand out on the pavement for a bit of air when it’s not too busy. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We just keep supplying parts to the local mechanics and car owners who need them.
