Adrith Foundation

Our office is on the second floor of a building in RR Nagar. The address is #1733, on the 6th Main in the 5th Stage. It’s a busy area, so there’s always the sound of scooters and cars outside our windows. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, which makes carrying boxes a real chore. We aren't a big, polished organization. The Adrith Foundation is just a small group of us working in this corner of the 2nd Phase. The walls inside are covered in old calendars and notes we’ve pinned up over the months. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us sitting at our desks surrounded by stacks of paper. It gets a bit cramped when we have more than three people visiting at once. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or meeting with people from around the neighborhood. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just use everyday English and talk to folks like they’re our neighbors, because they usually are. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait around, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have any big slogans or promotional goals. We just focus on the daily tasks and help out where we can in the local community. It’s a basic setup, but it works for us. Everyone here takes turns making coffee and we keep things very informal as we go about our work.
