Acharya Institutes

We are based out in Medharahalli, which is near the Chikkabanavara Post in Bangalore. The address is 208, and it’s a fairly large spot compared to some of the others around here. We’ve been here for a good while, watching the area grow and change. There used to be a lot more empty space around us, but now there are houses and small shops popping up everywhere. Our building is a solid structure, nothing too modern, but it does the job. Inside, there are several rooms where we keep our books and equipment. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure everything is where it should be. The staff here is just a few local people who know the area well. We walk to the post office at Chikkabanavara quite often to send out mail. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a quiet life for the most part, away from the heavy noise of the city centre. We have a small garden area in the front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds grow fast during the rainy season. People come here for all sorts of reasons related to their studies. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a front desk and some benches for people to wait on. It’s a honest place for learning.
