You can find us at 49 5 in Sunkadakatte. We are on the 2nd Cross, which is just off the Magadi Main Road. It’s a very busy area with a lot of shops. We sell various tools and machine components. The shop is filled with heavy metal items and boxes. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains from the parts we move around. We don't have a lot of space to walk, but we know exactly where the spanners and valves are kept. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps us cool. We’ve been here for many years. We see the same faces every week, mostly mechanics and factory workers from the nearby industrial estates. The Magadi Road traffic is something we deal with every single day. It can be quite loud with all the horns honking. We have an old radio that plays local songs in the background. It helps pass the time when things are slow. We don't do any big advertising. Our customers come back because they know we have the right parts. It’s a basic, no-nonsense shop. We just open the shutters in the morning and get to work. Sometimes we help customers load the heavier items into their vehicles if we aren't too busy with other tasks. It is a straightforward business and we like it that way.
