We are located out on Old Madras Road. It’s one of the main veins of the city, so there’s always something happening outside our doors. Accurate Edge Precision Equipment is exactly what it sounds like—we deal with tools and instruments that need to be very precise. Our shop is a bit of a mix between a warehouse and a small office. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and calibration tools. It’s detail-oriented work, so we try to keep the distractions to a minimum. The road outside can be pretty dusty with all the construction and traffic, but inside we keep things as clean as we can for the equipment. We have a small crew who knows their way around measuring devices and engineering tools. People come to us when they need something specific for their manufacturing process. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our business comes from people who know us or have been referred by other workshops in the area. It’s a humble place, just some shelves and workbenches. We take our time with the equipment because accuracy is the whole point of what we do. It’s a steady, quiet kind of business. We’ve been here for a while and plan to keep at it for many more years to come. We hope the traffic gets better soon, but we manage.
